1. Order Processing Time

  • Ready-to-Ship Items: Dispatched within 1–3 business days.

  • Custom/Made-to-Order Art: These require a creation period of 7-10 business days before dispatch.

  • Orders are not processed or shipped on Sundays or Public Holidays.

2. Domestic Shipping (Within India)

We ship to all serviceable pin codes across India via reputed courier partners (e.g., BlueDart, Delhivery).

  • Estimated Delivery:

    • Mumbai/Maharashtra: 2–3 business days.

    • Metros & Tier-1 Cities: 3–5 business days.

    • Rest of India: 5–7 business days.

  • Shipping Charges: Shipping is calculated at checkout. Per the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, the final price shown at checkout includes GST and all handling charges.

3. International Shipping

We ship globally from our Mumbai studio.

  • Delivery Timeline: 15–30 business days depending on the destination and customs clearance.

  • Customs, Duties & Taxes: In accordance with the Customs Act, 1962 and international trade norms, any import duties, taxes (VAT/PST), or brokerage fees levied by the destination country are the sole responsibility of the recipient. We ship under the Incoterm: DAP (Delivered at Place).

  • KYC Requirement: For high-value international shipments, our courier partner may contact you to provide government-issued ID (as per local customs regulations) to clear the package.

4. Tracking & Transparency

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking link via email/SMS. In compliance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, we provide real-time tracking updates until the point of delivery.

5. Transit Damages

Art is delicate. While we use premium packaging, if your order arrives damaged:

  1. Do not discard the packaging.

  2. Record an unboxing video (highly recommended for insurance claims under Indian Courier Regulations).

  3. Contact us within 48 hours via the Shopify portal.

At Anagha Varma, our commitment to creativity extends to the planet. To minimize our environmental footprint and reduce the inflow of new plastic into our ecosystem, we have adopted a Circular Packaging Policy:

  • The "Second Life" Box: You may receive your order in a box that has traveled before. We actively reuse clean, sturdy shipping cartons from other e-commerce sources to give them a second life.

  • Minimal Plastic: We avoid virgin plastic where possible, opting for recycled fillers and paper-based protection to ensure your art arrives safely without unnecessary waste.

  • Why we do this: Our goal is to reduce paper and plastic demand, ensuring that our craft brings beauty to your home without leaving a burden on the Earth.

Note: While the exterior box might show signs of its previous journey, the internal art piece is always securely packed with the utmost care and hygiene in mind.
